The RS450DC Damage control locker is designed to store damage control equipment including fire hoses, nozzles and fittings and is used on Naval vessels. There are two NATO stock codes for the RS450DC with different internal layouts. It comes complete with a very heavy duty Stainless steel draw system for tidy and secure storage of all the equipment.
It is fitted with a superb AS roller shutter door making access to the contents possible where there would not be room to open a conventional door so ideal for tight spaces. The cabinet structure offers a combination of high structural rigidity with relatively low weight. The roller shutter door comes with a very effective EPDM seal to keep the contents dry. These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats with fire retardant resins to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The NATO Stock codes are NSN 2090-99-555-9569 (Type A) and NSN 2090-99-174-6188 (Type B).
