The JB81 by Jo Bird can store up to six emergency descent devices (based on the Donut descent device dimensions). These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The design features a very robust 16mm thick door and a torsion box body design to provide a combination of light weight and durability. It also features a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.
The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a graphite Nylon rotary door handle (with Biomaster (R) technology) to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
The handle can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal.
