The JB17.950 equipment drying cabinet is fitted with the superb Pronomar warm air drying system to dry a wide range of wet clothing and safety equipment. The system uses stainless steel tubing to feet warm air under pressure into all parts of the clothing or equipment for thorough drying while maximising hygiene and without damaging the fabrics. A wide range of interchangeable hangers can be fitted for suit, lifejacket, boot, glove or just general purpose shelving. The sytem comes with a timer to set the preferred drying time.
Ideal for expedition cruise ships or crew working out of doors in wet weather such as on SOVs.
These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56 (before the fitting of vents). It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
The design is very rigid but much lighter and more corrosion resistant and similar sized steel cabinets. The doors are sealed with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. The interlocking doors are fitted with 316 Stainless steel hinges and a 316 stainless steel 3 way locking system. This has a single handle for easy access even when wearing gloves.
