The PB1O-FEL comes complete with a 316 stainless steel internal frame to fully support and secure a fibrelight ladder inside. It also comes complete with deck mounting channels for secure fixing to a ship’s deck. It also has Lloyds approval (see Fibrelight for details https://cqc.www.spacabinets.com/fibrelight/fibrelight-ladders/) . Please note the ladder is not included.
These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56.
The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight. The 316 Stainless steel hinges and lid catches are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.
The placement of the catches make it easy to open the lid in an emergency even when wearing gloves. The catches can be fitted with anti-tamper seals.
