The JB83BA  cabinet by Jo Bird is designed to store one  (30-60 minute) self contained breathing apparatus. Suitable for use on and offshore in harsh environments. The SCBA is securely held by a strong sprung clip for rapid deployment in an emergency. The cabinets are  manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56 to help keep the equipment dry and dust free. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

The design features a 16mm thick door which offers great rigidity and excellent weather sealing helped by a high quality EDPM door seal. The standard 316 Stainless steel hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a graphite Nylon rotary door handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. The handle contains Biomaster (R) technology and can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal.
