The JB62.150 descent device cabinet by Jo Bird stores an emergency descent device and is extensively used offshore due to its rugged construction and excellent level of protection. These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats and feature 316 stainless steel hinges and lid catch. The latter can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
It can be mounted vertically or horizantally to suit different locations and is used in the offshore energy industry as well as on cruise ships. It can be customised with other RAL colours or letting and can be fitted with Photo-luminescent lettering.
