The JB20EE Emergency equipment cabinet stores rescue equipment for Ferries (usually located either side of the bridge) and is fitted out with a variety of hooks, brackets and shelving to store the equipment in an orderly fashion. It comes complete with a break glass key box and a lockable handle. They are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoat to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

Being located on the wings of the bridge, the combination of light but strong design using composites is ideal. The door is held shut with a 316 Stainless steel 3 way locking system which is opened using a single handle. This enables rapid deployment in an emergency. The hinges are also in 316 Stainless steel for excellent resistance to corrosion. The door can be manufactured to be left or right hinged to suit port and starboard locations.
