The RS450FF type B is designed to store fire fighting equipment on Naval vessels. It has the NATO stock code NSN 2090-99-959-3522). It comes complete with 2 shelves to create three equal compartments. Please note there is also a type A with a different internal layout (see separate listing).
It is fitted with a superb AS roller shutter door making access to the contents possible where there would not be room to open a conventional door so ideal for tight spaces. The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection and the body is manufactured using class 1 flame retardant resins. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
