The RS450FF type A stores fire fighting equipment on Naval vessels. The NATO stock code is NSN 2090-99-258-4405. It comes complete with shelving and brackets for the neat storage of all the equipment.
It is fitted with a superb AS roller shutter door making access to the contents possible where there would not be room to open a conventional door so ideal for tight spaces. The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection and the body is manufactured using class 1 flame retardant resins. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. Please note there is also a type B which has a slightly different internal layout.
