The JB18LJS comes with two equally spaced shelves for the storage of automatic life jackets in vacuum/foil bags or foam filled life jackets. The exact capacity depends on the model of lifejacket being stored but typically, between thirty-six and fifty-six life jackets.
These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The 316 Stainless steel hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The door can be manufactured to be left or right hinged and is secured with 316 stainless steel 3 way locking fitted with a single handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
