The SOS101 fire extinguisher cabinet can store 1 x 6-9Kg portable fire extinguisher (excluding most 5Kg CO2 models). It is widely used in the petrochemical industry, in commercial shipping, marinas, hospitals, car parks and manufacturing sites. The high quality lid makes it very easy to check the condition of the fire extinguisher  and to read the gauge without having to open it. It is a very robust design due to its shape and types of plastics used in its construction.
These cabinets are manufactured using tough ABS for the bodies and polycarbonate for the lids to provide long lasting protection in indoor and outdoor environments. The door surround features a high quality EPDM rubber seal and the SOS101 has achieved an ingress protection  of IP54 from TUV.

The door can be left or right hinging and just rotate it to achieve this and move the shelf for left hinging by undoing to securing screw. The quick release handle can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal to deter opening in non emergency situations. Having only one handle means it can be opened very quickly in an emergency rather than worrying about  numerous small fiddly catches.
