The JB02R emergency descent device cabinet can store up to twelve descent devices (exact capacity depends on model stored). Please ask the sales team who will be happy to work this out for you.
These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The JB02R is often fitted with a central shelf to create two compartments. This makes it easier to store the emergency descent devices.

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The 316 Stainless steel hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging so it can be located in a wide range of locations and avoids the door becoming an obstruction. The door features a Graphite nylon/316 Stainless steel rotary handle incorporating Biomaster (R) technology. This design makes it very easy to open the door even when wearing gloves. Furthermore it can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal.
