The  JB54BA Breathing apparatus storage cabinet by Jo Bird is designed to hold two full duration SCBAs and 2 spare bottles. Sprung clips are fitted to hold the SCBAs in place and straps for the spare bottles. It is widely used on and off shore.
They are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight. It also has a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture to achieve the excellent weather sealing. The 316 Stainless steel hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a nylon rod handle to pull the door open to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
