The JB08BA breathing apparatus storage cabinet is fitted with a central shelf and 4 x sprung clips to hold 4 x 30-60 minute SCBAs. This makes it very easy to remove the breathing apparatus in an emergency but also ensures they are safety held in position when not in use. These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoat to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments.. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. As a result it is widely used by the offshore energy sector and petrochemical industry on shore

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a nylon rod handle to pull the door open to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. 3 way locking using 316 stainless steel components is a popular option.  The JB08BA cabinet is designed to be ground or deck mounted.
