The JB81 Fire extinguisher cabinet is designed to store one 2Kg CO2 or a 6 Kg / litre foam or dry powder portable fire extinguisher (up to a maximum height of 622mm).  In many cases there will also be room to store a fire blanket along side. They  are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
The design ensures a high level of rigidity but  relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel fittings.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a graphite Nylon rotary door handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. The handle contains Biomaster (R)  technology and can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal.
