The JB84S CO2 fire extinguisher cabinet is designed to store one 5Kg CO2 portable fire extinguisher up to 939mm tall or a 12Kg / litre fire extinguisher. It comes complete with a heavy duty woven nylon strap with quick release buckle, to hold the extinguisher firmly in place during rough sea conditions.
These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

The design features a 16mm thick door to ensure superb rigidity which helps with weather sealing. The door aperture also features a very effective EPDM seal around the edge for the same purpose. The nylon hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel fittings for great durability. Stainless steel hinges are a popular optional extra.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a graphite/nylon rotary handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. This can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal and contains the anti-microbial Biomaster (R) additive.
