The photo shows Guy Atkins, MD for Jo Bird and Co presenting Laxman Sivanathan with his MBA in business administration from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. This marks the culmination of many years of hard work and he achieved a distinction no less. Despite working full time for Jo Bird as well as raising a young family.
This is what he had to say. “I want to take this opportunity to thank Jo Bird and EIC for sponsoring the MBA, and my mentor, Guy Atkins, who has supported me throughout this journey . There’s a quote from a Marvel movie that says, ‘the part of the journey is the end.’ With that in mind, I can officially declare that I’m done with formal academic qualifications . However, the learning will continue for a lifetime”.
Never truer words were said about learning continuing for a lifetime but time will tell as to whether he is tempted by further academic study. Surely he must be running out of shelf space by now for all his awards.
