The JB15 Lifebuoy cabinet provides excellent protection from UV and water to a 30″ (762mm) Lifebuoy and floating line. It can be bulkhead or railing mounted (using the optional rail mounting kit). These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoat to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
This robust design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight and features a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The 316 Stainless steel hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. There is an additional 316 Stainless steel catch on the door to which an anti-tamper seal can be fitted. The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a nylon rod handle to pull the door open to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
