The JB73FB is a medium sized chest used to store approximately 48 foam filled life jackets and or Immersion suits. The exact capacity depends on the types being stored. The Jo Bird sales team will be happy to check for you.
They are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. This flat base version is lower in height than the standard JB73 which can be useful when there is little room above the lid. It is widely used in colder environments where it is customised with insulation and heaters to prevent frost. Please ask for further details.

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The 316 Stainless steel lid catches and hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The size and positioning of the catches makes it easy for one person to open quickly in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
The lid catches can be fitted with anti-tamper seals.
