This is the slightly revised version of the very popular JB82S. It stores 1 x 6-12Kg/litre portable fire extinguisher. Designed for use on ship’s decks/bulkheads and the extinguisher is firmly held in place by a nylon webbing strap with quick release buckle to prevent movement during rough sea conditions.
The cabinet features a 16mm thick door with high quality EPDM door seal to help prevent water ingress. It is manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a Rotary Graphite nylon/stainless steel handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. It contains Biomaster (R) anti-microbial additive and can also be fitted with an anti-tamper seal.
